DEPAUL UNIVERSITY

With the decline in both numbers and positions of responsibility at the University I believe the maintenance of the Vincentian Charism of Service is in serious jeopardy of being lost. The recent decision by the administration to dismiss employees in the service area along with termination of programs such as the Student Legal Service Office are examples of this loss of our Vincentian charism and the value of service in the University’s mission.
